Profile
I am a researcher and lecturer at Tallinn University. My current research focuses on online health-information behaviour, digital inequality and the ways people evaluate and use information in increasingly complex digital environments.
I also work on questions of media, public discourse and drug policy. This strand of my work examines how social problems acquire meaning through language, representation, journalism and changing technological environments.
Alongside academic research, I write regularly for the Estonian media. My public writing ranges from AI and algorithms to health information, drug markets and policy, and the cultural narratives through which these issues become understandable to wider audiences.
